The single door threshold adapter eliminates any tripping hazard and protects the bottom track when the Plissé is mounted in a door opening where the bottom track rests on top of the existing threshold.
When the Plissé is mounted in the door opening so that the bottom track rests on top of the existing threshold this adapter is used to eliminate the tripping hazard and to protect the bottom track. The threshold adapter is not needed if the point where the bottom track is to be mounted is lower than the existing threshold. On sliding doors it is often not needed because there is usually a lowered place for the original screen track.
